Join us at Tiers-lieu Eich to learn about the fascinating history of the “Lakerten”, traveling salespeople that used to be an iconic part of Eich, Weimerkich and Pafendall. You’ll be able to discover Jéinesch, the secret language the Lakerten used and of which vestiges are still in use in contemporary Luxembourgish. You will also have the opportunity to glean some insider knowledge of the popular history of Luxembourg city’s northern neighbourhoods. The historian Romain Pansain is animating the workshop.
