“Luxembourg, Old Quarters and Fortifications” is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The historic urban landscape is made up of its topography, water, forests, biodiversity, but also by the imprint left by human presence over more than a millennium and a very rich and significant history. It is the combination of these elements of natural and cultural heritage that constitutes the historic urban landscape. United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 aims to ensure that cities and human settlements are inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. How does Luxembourg manage this objective in the face of climate change, land pressure, equity of treatment and accessibility? Our quality of life depends on it. Conference in French with historian Dr phil Robert L. Philippart, UNESCO Site Manager hon
The conference will last 90 minutes, followed by a convivial drink.
