In September, Openscreen is launching a special edition of the Doc & Talk series under the theme “Living Together”. The project is being carried out with the support of the Division of Intercultural Living Together of the Ministry of Family, Solidarity, Living Together and Refugee Reception.
The series will present different documentaries related to inclusion, diversity and social justice, which are pillars for living better together. Doc & Talk partners are the Commune of Bettembourg, Ciné le Paris in Bettembourg and Ciné Sura in Echternach.
The opening event will take place on September 26th at Ciné le Paris, starting at 7:30 pm. The first documentary to be screened is “Snajka: Journal of Expectations” – a co-production between Croatia, Kosovo and Italy. After each screening, there will be a discussion with the filmmaker and/or the protagonist. In the case of “Snajka”, it is the same person – Croatian sociologist and researcher on migration and cultural identities, Tea Vinovich Dalipi. She will join us online for a discussion after the film.
In order to reach more people in other parts of the country and to provoke a conversation with diverse audiences, Openscreen will be pleased to screen the film also at Ciné Sura in Echternach the next evening, September 27, at 7:30 p.m. Once again, Tea Vidović Dalipi will participate in a discussion after the screening.
Access to all events in the Doc & Talk: Living Together series is free for everyone.
